Vrchol hory Mount Washington je často v oblacích nebo má spoustu plochých dnů. Zdá se, že upravené tratě se zastavují v polovině svahu, takže horní svahy jsou velmi zledovatělé. Parkoviště je půl kilometru dlouhé, velmi úzké, neuvěřitelně hrbolaté a pokryté ledem, takže je po většinu dní dlouhá a nebezpečná procházka. Skvělé prostředí a působivé sjezdovky, ale zledovatělé podmínky kazí zábavu.

Zdá se, že horu provozují lidé s malými nebo žádnými zkušenostmi, nemyslím si, že generální ředitel skutečně lyžuje nebo jezdí na snowboardu. Pro generálního manažera je klíčové rozumět řízení lyžařského provozu a být vášnivým lyžařem nebo snowboardistou, aby zažil to, co zažívají zákazníci. Potřebují novou strategii, jak naložit s úpravou a otevíráním sjezdovek, parkoviště je tak neorganizované. Většinu víkendů jsou vleky otevřené dlouho do noci. Ani se mnou nemluvě o údržbě silnice na Mount Washington. Chápu, že to není odpovědnost střediska, ale množství nehod a těsných situací, které vidím každý víkend, když je sníh, je nepřijatelné. Majitel musí investovat do odklízení sněhu ze silnice na úkor dodavatele, proč riskovat zranění nebo ještě hůř smrt zákazníků na této silnici? Mám skipas pět let a budu tam lyžovat i nadále, protože je to moje jediná volba, proto se pravděpodobně nikdy nezměníme.

Used to be a family friendly kind of mountain. Now the new owners want it to be a mini vail or something I’ve never seen it so busy in the past 11 years they’ve made the coffee shop and food cafeteria all fancy jacked up the prices it’s like they completely switched their customer base if you want to wait half an hour just for chair up the mountain Mount washington will be perfect for you.

Poor grooming on green & blue runs makes for scary descents; skidoo’s running in the middle of the runs, and people skipping the lineups as there is no one to organize skiers to the chairs

I have been riding Mt. Washington for 20 years now and they set the bar for low standards. Think of amenities you love at other hills and they doing at about 65%.
Food- sub par.
Apres- boring and limited
Park- barely
Terrain- limited and prone to not opening

I have ridden 32 years in many places from Lake Louis to Whistler and Baker.
I don't know if it's because it's the only real hill on the island but they just don't try. This hill is in serious need of top ski hill advising to get it into the next level of being... good enough instead of just okay.

Was so excited to go tubing with the kid. Got there, was lucky to get tickets for last time slot 5-6pm. Was lucky to get 2 rides down. Only 2 of 3 lanes open at start, then down to only 1 for the adults because of snow conditions being too fast for adults in the other lane. So total gong show. Huge wait times, everyone pissed off. Total disappointment. Policy of No refunds. Ripped off in restaurant $32 for fries and gravy? Extremely dangerous traumatic drive down the mountain road in dense fog and total darkness - no lighting!!! Crawling down searching for the road - absolute nightmare. Unbelievably crap care for customers road safety.

Having read some other reviews I see now that I was not the only skier who saw that the grooming of the ski hill was ok at best this year, I even fell in January ‘19 because of the poor grooming on Sunset (easy way down??); needless to say I missed out on most of the season. Also I find a lot of the skidoos pass down / up in the middle of the run! I have never seen that before at Mt. W..

I love the mountain, so close to town.
But I find the rates expensive for what is offered. Also I am recovering from injuries so need to stay on the easiest runs and have to use the magic carpet, which I hate. That jerky start is very jolting and I know 2 people personally who have fallen getting on it. I won’t be buying a pass this year.
